Alliance for Period Supplies of SWFL receives $40,000 Grant from The League Club

Alliance for Period Supplies of SWFL is pleased to announce it has received a $40,000 grant from the Community Trust Fund of the League Club. This grant will provide period supplies every month for a whole year for 1,320 at-risk women and girls in Collier and Lee counties.

“We are very grateful for the continued support of The League Club. The grant monies raised from The League Club’s Annual Fundraiser, Naples Tables® provide an important service to our community, particularly the women and children.” said Dusti Beaubien, the president and founder of the Alliance for Period Supplies of SWFL. “The League Club understands the importance of women helping women by supporting nonprofits which address uniquely female issues. It is not uncommon for those impacted by period poverty to miss school or work, go without eating to purchase supplies, or use unsafe & potentially damaging substitutes”
