The Alliance for Period Supplies of SWFL (APS of SWFL) is thrilled to announce a generous $25,000 grant from the Jingled Elves, a dedicated group of women committed to making a difference in their community. This funding will provide safe, hygienic, and worry-free periods for 9,690 at-risk women and girls throughout Collier County.

“We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of Jingled Elves,” said Dusti Beaubien, president and founder of APS of SWFL. “Their commitment to ending period poverty is a shining example of women empowering women. Thanks to this grant, we can continue our vital mission—ensuring that a period is just a sentence, not a barrier to education or employment.”

The Reality of Period Poverty
For 1 in 4 women and girls, affording period products is a challenge. Despite being essential, these items are not covered by federal assistance programs such as SNAP (Food Stamps), leaving many without access to basic hygiene necessities.
